Ashurst HwaHyun Joint Venture Law Firm (Ashurst Korea JV), the first joint venture between an international firm and a Korean firm based in Korea, was established in 2023 between global law firm Ashurst and Korean law firm HwaHyun.

Leveraging Ashurst's successful outbound practice for Korean clients and HwaHyun's deep understanding of the Korean market as a full-service law firm operating in the jurisdiction, Ashurst Korea JV is ideally placed to assist both Korean and international clients with their legal needs.

As part of the Ashurst global network, Ashurst Korea JV draws on a strong team of Korean lawyers and foreign legal advisers/consultants to advise on both Korean law and the laws of the relevant jurisdictions. We are ideally positioned to provide seamless, around-the-clock services to clients in respect of a full range of transactions, disputes and regulatory/compliance advice with a Korean nexus.
